In today’s episode, we are continuing our conversation with Souvik, the CTO at Acuiti Labs. In today’s episode, we are going to be covering and diving a bit deeper into the features and functionalities of our quote-to-cash customer portal.

So, Souvik let’s kick off this episode by talking what we at Acuiti Labs are doing currently in the product development space?
As we have launched our Q2C customer portal, we are improving it in various ways. We are implementing few new features and functionalities as well as we are improving our BTP deployment, trying to use more of SAP’s BTP services that are offered on BTP. But apart from that, we are currently developing few other products. So, one of them is reseller portal. This is for the public cloud variant because it’s not being offered by SAP at the moment. So, what we are, trying to build is, creating a reseller portal that can be offered to the channel partners of our customers where, our customer organization and the channel partners can negotiate their price; at what price this channel partner would be selling the customers’ products to their end customers. And that will create kind of a pricing agreement. Once that is done, this pricing, the negotiated pricing will be available for the channel partners. And channel partners will be using those pricing to sell, our customers product to the end customers. So that’s one thing that we are working on.

Second thing we are working on is, Mid-Market CPQ. So the idea here is, SAP has its own CPQ, but that’s quite big and more useful for enterprise customers. We believe that there is an opportunity to create a Mid-Market CPQ which can be deployed in like, a couple of months at the same kind of timeframe, like our customer portal. Which is not as complex, may not be able to manage as much complexity as CPQ. But, at the same time, it will be good enough for, mid-market customers. So that’s another thing that we are working on.
Last but not the least, there is third thing that is very interesting. It came from SAP itself as they saw our customer portal. SAP still have a product called Biller Direct, which was similar to customer portal, but it was for their legacy ECC solutions. Then they came up with a product called Cloud for Customer Payment which is for SAP S/4HANA and now both products are kind of going into sunset. So, SAP is not going to continue with that. SAP approached us saying that if we can take that over and build our product, integrated with SAP S/4HANA. So, we already have integrated integration with SAP BRIM, private cloud and public cloud. Now, we are going to build our portal for SAP S/4HANA and FIAR customers and that will make our product one single customer portal that is currently available for any SAP customer. So, you can imagine that will open like a huge, big, set of opportunities for us.
Any customer implementing S/4HANA or SAP BRIM or Public Cloud if they need a customer portal, the only place that they will have to go to is us, Acuiti Labs. So, these are the interesting products, that we are going to be working on. This is our roadmap. The last one that I just spoke about, eventually SAP will also communicate to their customers and that these products are going under the sunset. Going forward Q2C customer portal of Acuiti labs is the one that is going to provide those features and functionalities.
So yes, we are at a very interesting space right now, and I believe we will see a lot of traction in our product portfolios. Lot of opportunities coming in for us in the next 6 to 8 months.
